A note to the Jewish Republicans

In an article published yesterday in an Italian paper or periodical called La Republica, it seems that the pope just finished a new book, writing one--not reading a picture book like someone else we know. Anyway, he compares abortion to the Shoah (Holocaust) when I did a translation online. Read it in English here. When translated, the main headline is
Abortion is like the Shoah.
Oh yea, he compared certain practices in the United States that are contradictory to the church's doctrine to that of 1930's Germany or communism.
Seperation of religion and state is a must in this country. This guy cannot be influencing United States elections. It is wrong and uncalled for. However, comparing what a woman does to her body to what that horrible schmuck did over 60 years ago is wrong, unjust, and uncalled for. I demand Matt Brooks, Ira Forman, and Abraham Foxman to ask for an apology from the Catholic Church. I also ask that no one from outside of the United States--such as the heads of religious institutions--to say such rhetoric to where people don't vote for one candidate because of their religious beliefs. Excuse me for being Jewish then. However, I believe in Tikkun Olam, in the mother's right to choose, and in treating others how you wish to be treated, among many things.
