Report from St. Louis and Wildcats

The Courier calls them the skyline:
Forget about twin towers. The University of Kentucky's basketball team now has a front line more impressive than Lexington's skyline.

With the commitment of Scott County's 7-foot-2 center, Jared Carter, the Wildcats could field a roster next season that includes 6-10 starting center Randolph Morris and three 7-footers, Carter, Lukasz Obrzut and Shagari Alleyne.
Scotty County's nickname, you ask? The Cardinals.

During CBS Sports Final Four Coverage, I think Tubby Smith said he is rooting for the Cardinals despite it being Big Ten territory (Actually, it's Conference USA territory).

Now for my brother's report:
Because of the security line being too long, we completely missed Louisville practice. We saw all the others practice. Greg Gumbel, Seth Davis, and Clark Kellogg were there setting up and stuff. After the practices were done, Clark was
about to leave and we got his autograph. This was also estimated to be the largest Final Four Friday Practice crowd.

Then we went to Hoop City. It was ok, Ian Nesmith was there signing, he is the grandson of James. Then we went to Union Station to watch ESPN. We were able to get John Anderson, Dick Vitale, Chris Flower, Digger Phelps, and Jay Bilas' autograph.

This is where I insert my jealousy.

Mazel Tov to Connecticut's Jim Calhoun and Syracuse's Jim Boeheim with regards to being elected in to the Basketball Hall of Fame. The formal announcement will come on Monday. The induction ceremony will take place during September 8-10, 2005, in Springfield, Mass. Dominique Wilkins was rejected despite scoring 26,668 total points, averaging 24.8 points per game, and played in nine-time All-Star games.
