The 60's experience

This thing is on the local PBS affiliate up here. It's called the 60's Experience.

The PBS description for this show says: The music of the '60s is featured in a retrospective that combines modern concert appearances with archival footage. Included: "Nowhere to Run," by Martha Reeves; and "Purple Haze," by Jimi Hendrix. Hosts: Roger McGuinn and Chuck Negron.

The Yahoo TV description says: Procol Harum, the Moody Blues, John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival perform songs of peace, love and protest."

Chances are that this will be dealing with a lot of folk rock. Music that still remains great to this day (Thank you: Pete Seeger, Woody and Arlo Guthrie, and Bob Dylan). This site has the complete set list. Rickenbacker guitars are all over this concert!

Roger McGuinn of the Byrds - "Turn, Turn, Turn" (This is a great song whether it's Pete Seeger, The Byrds, or him singing solo)
Chuck Negron - "Easy to be Hard", "One" (He used to be in Three Dog Night)

The Moody Blues - "Go Now" (archive) (Denny Laine would join Paul McCartney's Wings)
Eric Burdon of the Animals - "We Gotta Get Out of this Place"
Eric Burdon and the Animals - "House of the Rising Sun" (This is a good New Orleans song and its blues rock)
