Cardinals Sweep Padres in 3

Matt Morris won his first game this postseason as the St. Louis Cardinals swept the San Diego Padres in Game 3. Through 6 innings, Morris struck out 4 and gave up two runs. Brad Thompson, Randy Flores, and Julian Taverez combined for two earned runs. As expected, Jason Isringhausen came in for the save.

Cardinals hitting caused Woody Williams to leave before the end of two innings after giving up 5 earned runs.
