Can we say the same about Ernie Fletcher?

I think we can substitute governor for president and Kentuckian for American, and we can say the same about Ernie Fletcher.

Anyway, I just got back from the Veteran's Day celebration here at NKU where I chatted with State Representative Dennis Keene (D) and Congressman Geoff Davis (R-KY4). Congressman Davis said that he chaired the House of Representatives when the 30 Something Democrats were on the floor. I always enjoy watching the 30 Something Democrats debate. Davis was the keynote speaker today at NKU for the Veteran's Day celebration.

Roger Clemens has filed for free agency.

Congressman Ron Lewis must know nothing about State Representative Mike Weaver as Lewis is calling Weaver a liberal. Representative Weaver is what I call a moderate-to-conservative Democrat.

Mark seems to think that John Y. Brown, III will run if Jack Conway doesn't. Brown has been out of office sice 2003 when he decided to not run for anything.

Word is that Brown has been encouraged by top Democrats to jump into the race and there's no doubt that with his experience, name ID, and ability to raise money, he would be a top-tier challenger.

Democrats should be optimistic that regardless of who challenges Northup, there should be one hell of a race in Louisville next year.

That would be interesting if Brown runs and Conway does not. I like the idea of former Secretary of State John Y. Brown, III running for office again. However, I am still awaiting word to see if Conway v. Northup 2.0 will happen.
