A few things...

I am very disgusted that the President used the NSA to eavesdrop on Americans without a court warrant. It pisses me off because tey aren't allowed to do that under the 1978 law. This violates our civil liberties and makes me even more thankful that the Patriot Act was not renewed. Of course, liberty has been playing hurt since the Patriot act. A few Republicans joined the Democrats on not renewing the act so they cannot say that Democrats don't care for national security. I care about defense and national security issues.

As Sir Paul McCartney’s latest tour rolls out across America, Midas is once again the console of choice, both for front of house and monitors. McCartney’s longtime front-of-house engineer Pab Boothroyd is using an XL4, having been using the desk almost exclusively since its launch 10 years ago. Meanwhile, monitor engineer John Roden (pictured) is using two Midas Heritage 3000s onstage.

Sen. Bayh, who turns 50 in less than ten days, speaks out against the Patriot act.

Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., said he opposed the version before the Senate because it doesn't strike the right balance between protecting both security and civil liberties, according to his spokeswoman.

Bayh supports extending current law long enough to let lawmakers come up with another version, spokeswoman Meg Keck said.
