I've been in a meeting this afternoon and got back to catch up on emails and what not.

Okay, who was the one person voting against the resolution? The House passed a resolution recommending that the country does not deal with a Hamas-led government. The vote was 418-1.

The non-binding resolution, which was passed unanimously by the Senate two weeks ago, was approved by the House on Wednesday in a 418-1 vote.

The resolution recommends a ban on direct aid to the Palestinian Authority as long as parties calling for Israel’s destruction control a majority of seats in the Palestinian legislature. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) initiated the resolution in the wake of the landslide legislative election victory last month of Hamas.

"Hamas must decide if they are ready to change course on their militant past, renounce violence, and recognize their neighbor Israel," Thune said. "Until then, our message is clear: America does not and will not support terrorism."

Another bill currently in Congress would legislate such a ban.

America will not give the PA the $50 million set aside for them.

The St. Louis Cardinals are ready to get back to work. By the way, here is some good news. I just need to find out where the Kentucky stations are.

Radio partners announced
The Cardinals on Wednesday announced their radio network affiliates for the season, including a handful of stations serving metro-east communities.

In addition to the team's own station -- it owns half of KTRS-AM 550 in St. Louis -- the network includes WHCO-AM 1230 in Sparta, WIBV-FM 102.1 in Centralia, WMIX-AM 940 in Mount Vernon, and WSMI-AM 1540 and WSMI-FM 106.1 in Litchfield.

The list includes 27 other stations in smaller Illinois communities outside the metro-east, 35 in outstate Missouri, 13 stations in Arkansas, nine in Iowa, nine in Kentucky, six in Oklahoma, six in Tennessee, and three in Indiana.
