Ugh...Facebook

I hate the new changes that Facebook made. I don't want to know that so and so added something as their favorite band or that they have a crush on someone else. TIME magazine takes a look at the backlash against the new changes that were made.

Since Tuesday, a handful of anti-News Feed groups have sprung up on Facebook. The largest has 284,000 members and is called "Students Against Facebook News Feed (Official Petition to Facebook)." The group was created yesterday morning by Ben Parr, a junior at Northwestern University, who was disgusted to find the News Feed when he logged into Facebook. With a meeting to get to, Parr quickly created a group, told a few friends about it and left his computer. When he came back a few hours later, the membership was at 13,000 and the numbers climbed steadily throughout the day, reaching 100,000 at 2:00 a.m — at which point Parr called it a night.

It was over 480,000 last that I checked.

Democratic Indiana Senator Evan Bayh's use of his alumni Facebook account has received national attention.

Jonathan Kott, spokesman for the All American Political Action Campaign, of which Bayh is chairman, said the idea of using Facebook was suggested by a staffer and the account was set up in June 2006.

"The Senator thought it was best to use a medium that young people use to energize and engage them," Kott said. "It allowed him to connect with them on their level."

You know who has apologized to Brooke Shields. If he didn't take so long, his reputation would never have been ruined.

Haaretz will rank presidential candidates with regards to Israel.

Apparently, you are no longer allowed to daven on planes either.
