I talked with a woman named Dawn, who assured me that if she ends up voting a straight Republican ticket, it will be because she has researched the issues and, by gum, the Republicans just happened to represent her the best.
That’s a great way to look at politics. Sadly, too few people end up voting their values, either because the choice does not appear on a ballot or because the alternative to the horrible candidate is one that’s worse.
