Kentucky Wildcats headed to Music City Bowl!

It's official!
The official announcement will come at a news conference in Commonwealth Stadium's Wildcat Den Sunday at 6:30 p.m., but the Music City Bowl's website revealed the matchup earlier on Sunday.

UK (7-5, 4-4 Southeastern Conference) hasn't played in a bowl game since 1999, when it lost to Syracuse in the Music City Bowl. The Wildcats' last bowl win came in 1984, a 20-19 win against Wisconsin.

It's the 11th bowl game in UK history, and the second against Clemson, which beat UK 14-13 in the 1993 Peach Bowl.

Clemson (8-4, 5-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) lost three of its last four games, including a 31-28 loss to South Carolina in the season finale.
