Schmuck of the Week: Jim Gooch, Jr.

This week's schmuck of the weeek is none other than Kentucky State House Representative Jim Gooch, Jr. for filing 2008 House Bill 468, which as states in the official text of the bill:

Amend KRS 6.611 to add editorial writers and cartoonists to the definition of legislative agents; delete editorial statements from the list of activities that are not considered lobbying.

For that and his global defiance of the fact that global warming actually exists...we think he's in the first stage of a 12-stage program and he's at the denial stage.
