Jews in Comics

Comic books were the invention of a Jew named Max Gaines in 1933. Many prominent comic books were created by Jews. Some characters are actually Jewish or are derived from Jewish ideas, folklore, etc...though many don't know it.

Batman/Bruce Wayne (Bob Kane/Bill Finger)--In the new movie, there are many Jewish themes.
The Thing/Ben Grimm (Stan Lee/Jack Kirby)
Superman/Clark Kent (Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster)--The Krypton name for Superman was Kal-El, a Hebrew word which means "all that is G-d." Superman was based on the story of Moses.
