Don't Hatch your Chickens yet

Ryan Alessi has an update for us concerning next year's governor's race.

Democrat Jonathan Miller, the state treasurer, said yesterday he's in the "final stages of vetting and interviewing lieutenant governor candidates."

Miller wouldn't name any of the finalists. When asked whether former Secretary of State John Y. Brown III was on that list, he paused, then declined comment.

"There are a number of individuals I'm talking with," said Miller, 39. "I haven't made a formal offer yet."

For what it's worth, former Secetary of State John Y. Brown III works with potential gubernatorial candidate Ron Geary...last I had checked.
