The Daily Show spent no time in making fun of the closed session and the resulting press conferences.
It looks like the DSCC is practically ignoring Dr. Chuck Pennacchio. Speaking of Democratic Senators, this text was sent out to supporters of Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL):
The Senator was scheduled to be in the studio with Jon, but had to be in Washington for Senate votes that came up this evening. He'll be on via satellite instead.Today, we learned that the Ed Schultz Show will now be aired on Armed Forces Radio.
WesPAC sent out an email with regards to Ed Schultz:
Ed Schultz stated, "I would like to thank General Clark for his efforts to help bring the Ed Schultz Show to Armed Forces Radio Network. To have the support of one of the highest ranking military officers in the history of the country is an honor."New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer will be on The Colbert Report. That makes two shows to watch tonight.
NJDC sent out an email to it's list saying:
On Friday, Reps. Henry Waxman (D-CA), Allyson Schwartz (D-PA), and Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) led a group of sixty House members -- all but four of whom were Democrats -- in writing to U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan pressing for an unambiguous, formal United Nations denunciation of Iran's recent call for Israel to be "wiped off the map." In sending the letter, Rep. Waxman noted, "There must be a stronger condemnation considering Iran's support for terrorist groups that attack Israel, and its determination to develop nuclear weapons and obtain long-range missiles capable of striking Israel."I'm going to be off most of the night with a paper due tomorrow.
