Who would confiscate a cell phone and then donate it? What type of school board is this that would allow such a thing?!? You know, in some cases, such as emergencies, cell phones need to be on!
But in Oldham County, the parents get punished because after two warnings to students, under school policy, they lose their phones for good. Parents, most of the time, are the ones that pay the phone bills.
Oldham County educators should be ashamed of themselves. You can fight technology all you want but you can't ignore it.
