A Hazy Shade of Winter

Seth Meyers will be taking the job of NBC anchor Brian Williams on Saturday Night Live. There was a Brokaw sketch this past weekend that was cut from the live show.
John McCain running in 2008? He would be as old as the late President Ronald Reagan on January 20, 2009. Others being talked about for the GOP nomination: Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist of Tennessee; Senators Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, George Allen of Virginia and Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania; former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani , and Governors Mitt Romney of Massachusetts and George Pataki of New York.
Instead of focusing the anger towards the DLC, focus it towards ousting Senator Mitch McConnell, Congressman Crooked Delay, or Senator Rick "Gays should not sleep together" Santorum. McConnell will try and work hard to get Ernie Fletcher re-elected as Fletcher might very well be running for President. The best things that the Kentucky Democratic Party has going are Congressman Ben Chandler and State Treasurer Jonathan Miller.
The Utopianist has placed five steps to winning midterms on his blog. Read it as it is very insiteful. Of course, there is Max Burns and his New Democratic Plan. That one is another fine read as well. If that's not enough, you can always head to Ron Gunzberger's Politics1.com.
Senator-elect Ken Salazar and Congressman-elect John Salazar are rooming together now that they are elected to represent their state or congressional district on Capitol Hill.
