Kernan Meeting in Washington

The following was in a Google news alert. I thought I would share a paragraph from WTHR-13 in Indianapolis.

And although Kernan says there are good Democrats among them, he is hoping a senator from Indiana will be the nominee next time and that Evan Bayh's experience as a governor will be a plus. "It is that executive experience that goes a long way, and again it's so practical and much less philosophical and therefore less divisive, I think."

As to Gov. Joe Kernan's own political future:

Kernan says he's made no decisions about his own plans for the future, he's focusing on the transition of the governor's office to Mitch Daniels
