2012 Summer Movies

This summer saw a busy season at the box office.
I myself spent many weekends seeing at least one film, if not more.

Here's the rundown by the order that I saw them in:
  1. The Avengers (Certified Fresh, 92% all critics, 84% top critics)
  2. Dark Shadows (advanced screening, 40%, 37%)
  3. The Dictator (58%, 56%)
  4. Men in Black 3 (advanced screening, 69%, 71%)
  5. Snow White and the Huntsman (48%, 60%)
  6. Rock of Ages (advanced screening, 41%, 43%)
  7. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (36%, 25%)
  8. Moonrise Kingdom (Certified Fresh, 94%, 98%)
  9. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (53%, 57%)
  10. Ted (70%, 62%)
  11. People Like Us (57%, 55%)
  12. The Amazing Spider-Man (Certified Fresh, 73%, 76%)
  13. Safety Not Guaranteed (Certified Fresh, 92%, 93%)
  14. To Rome with Love (44%, 54%)
  15. Your Sister's Sister (Certified Fresh, 83%, 77%)
  16. The Dark Knight Rises (Certified Fresh, 87%, 76%)

The cream of the crop this summer consisted of The Avengers, Moonrise Kingdom, The Dark Knight Rises, Safety Not Guaranteed, Ruby Sparks, and Celeste and Jesse Forever).

Outside of that, don't expect my movie awards until the end of the year.
