Kentucky's new coach, Billy Gillispie, was offered a seven year deal for $2.3 million a year.
Drew Deener said on WKYT that Jai Lucas told CatsPause.com that Kentucky got a steal in Billy Gillispie. Patterson will be a tougher sell though.
The Lexington Herald-Leader had an extra edition released today and the Kentucky Kernal will issue a special Saturday edition.
