Isaac to teach American Government in Lawrenceburg

Brian Smth of The Anderson News managed to get an exclusive interview with former Lexington mayor Teresa Isaac. The article does mention the possibility of a statewide run and a possible run for Congress.
Students taking the American government course at the Lawrenceburg campus of Bluegrass Community and Technical College will get a unique insight into the political process this semester.

Former Lexington mayor Teresa Isaac, who lost her re-election bid in November to attorney Jim Newberry, will teach the introductory-level course on Thursday evenings.

“I've always tried to teach, practice law and participate in politics,” Isaac said. “I've tried to juggle all three.”[...]

“Many people have forgotten this, but she was an adjunct professor at the Lexington campus before she was elected mayor,” he said. “She has also taught political science at Eastern Kentucky University in the past as well.”[...]

Isaac confirmed she is looking at running for statewide office in the near future, and a potential congressional run later on. “I'll be making that decision soon,” she said
Unless she's running in the fifth district, I don't see anyone challenging Congressman Ben Chandler anytime soon.
