Please, G-d, I ask of you, do not have Marvel cast Matthew McConaughey as Captain America. Please! I'd rather see someone like Matthew Fox of Party of Five and LOST fame. We're talking someone that commands presence on the screen like Brandon Routh as Superman!
Here's some spoilers for the third Batman film, which include spoilers for The Dark Knight as well.
This makes no sense at all but Cyclops aka Scott Summers, albeit a younger version, will be in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It's confirmed here that Australian actor Tim Pocock will be playing the character. I don't get this at all unless it's somehow tied to what Stryker said in the second film that he took his son, Jason, to Xavier's School for the Gifted. It's bad enough that Gossip Girl writer Josh Schwartz admitted that he's penning a script for this Young X-Men movie.
The Spirit, adapted from Will Eisner's comic strip, has already had a date change. It moves from January 16,2009 to December 25, 2008, which means blockbuster numbers for it's opening. Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes are cast members for the Frank Miller-penned film.
Jon Favreau is already talking about Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3.
