Crisis Resolved

G-d works in mysterious ways. I never made it to BP or Perkins. I ran into a fellow dem that happened to have an extra lighter. It is idiot-proof and I made sure to work it first.

I'm going to be posting again on Daily Kos but more sporadically then before. I just don't like the fact that I, a progressive centrist and student member of the Democratic Leadership Council, is being treated for standing up for political mentor Senator Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut. It gets frustrating continually getting attacked by members of my own party. Please do your Democratic duty to support Senator Lieberman

I've became aware that there is another site mentioning how I am being treated on Kos, does anyone know which one? I'm interested in knowing what it says...

Scalia To Synagogue - Jews Are Safer With Christians In Charge 12. Yea, right. I tend to doubt that. We were safer with President William Jefferson Clinton.

In other news, the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) has sent out the following in their latest email. Please read carefully.
Conservative FOX News Channel host Bill O'Reilly has once again put his foot squarely in his mouth. On December 3rd, "Media Matters" reports that O'Reilly told a Jewish radio show caller who was concerned about observance of Christmas in public schools, "Come on, [caller] -- if you are really offended, you gotta go to Israel then."

Media Matters notes that the caller was concerned about "Christmas going into schools," and the caller explained that he "grew up with a resentment because I felt that people were trying to convert me to Christianity." According to Media Matters, "O'Reilly told the caller that America is 'a predominantly Christian nation' and that 'if you are really offended, you gotta go to Israel.' O'Reilly labeled the caller's concerns 'an affront to the majority' and insisted that 'the majority can be insulted, too.'" Please click here to read the story.
