Joe Biden for President in 2008?

Show Quote of The Day
December 8, 2004
Imus asks Delaware Senator Joe Biden if he plans to run for the presidency in four years and Biden replies, "I am going to proceed as if I am going to run. Here is the bottom line for me. Two years from now I don't want to do this for the exercise. I'm pretty certain about what I think needs to be done but I am not sure that the country is where I am. They might not think what I think needs to be done and should be done. I'm not about at this stage of the game compromise on what I think has to be done. I'm prepared to compromise on a lot of things but there are certain basic fundamental things and I'm not sure that my party will be ready for me or the country will be ready for me, but we are going to find out."
This was on the front page of Imus in the Morning. It will be very interesting to see who runs. I did hear that he has some baggage though. So will Joe Biden run for President? I like the guy but I don't think we should run someone that lives in a blue state. My money is on Evan Bayh for President in 2008. Coming close is Mark Warner, the Governor of my neighboring state, Virginia.
