A Warren Township High School in Gurnee has scheduled is prom for the first night of Pesach (Passover). That reminds me of the error made by the Kentucky Derby Festival in the scheduling of Thunder Over Louisville. The KDF board included a Jew who ran for re-election. Unless your an idiot, anyone knows when the first night of Pesach is a head of time!
The school will not reschedule due to contractual agreements including one with Paris Hilton. Hilton could not be booked for rescheduling the event.
I choose religious obervances over everything else any day of the week!
That means I will NEVER campaign on Shabbas, including Fancy Farm here in KY!
