Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska has said he will "push to apply public broadcast standards to satellite, too." Senator Stevens is apparently not familiar with The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Swarms of people get their news from this show. I watch it every day but I get my news online.
Senator Stevens, maybe if you and the networks were not pandering to far religious right-wingers, we wouldn't have the 5-second delay. The 5-second delay should only be in one place and one place only, no make that two: call-in radio shows and the National Football League.
That's right, people are sick and tired of Rush Limbaugh and his call-in show should be retired. The NFL deserves to have the 5 second delay of game for flag penalties. However, the left-wingers and moderates in this country is tired of the religious taking over this country. We have a freedome of religion and we know how to use it.
