Cold Pizza

I'm gonna start watching the show on ESPN when I wake up if it is on.

Is this great or what? It's becoming more clear that Senator Bayh will indeed be a candidate for President.
In another sign of congressional anger toward China, Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) said he would use his senatorial privilege to put a hold on President Bush's nomination of Rep. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) to become U.S. trade representative. Bayh said he would release the hold if Senate leaders would allow a vote on a bill he has introduced that would make it easier for the government to impose duties on goods from China and other countries that allegedly subsidize their manufacturers.
Speaking of Evan Bayh, here's this from the New York Times. Thankfully, I am no longer required to read it in class.
But Mr. Negroponte did not dispute an alternative version offered by Senator Evan Bayh, Democrat of Indiana, who said the effect of such caution had been to produce intelligence products that were "more accurate, but not more illuminating."
Jose Canseco got a $300,000 advance to write his book.

What does Mitch Daniels think he is doing? He is undoing the great work that Evan Bayh did as Governor.
Then Gov. Evan Bayh proposed the Step Ahead initiative in 1991 as a way to promote early childhood development. Throughout the state, Step Ahead councils collaborated with local providers, agency representatives and others involved in health and human services for children and families. The goal, Cummings said, was to build local collaboration and mobilize resources at the grassroots level.
Barry Bonds got booed at Dodger Stadium and he didn't even play? Just go ahead and retire.

Tom Brady hosts Saturday Night Live this weekend.
Brady will be making his acting debut on SNL and joins a long list of athletes who have hosted, including fellow football stars Joe Montana, Walter Payton and Deion Sanders.
I'll be sure to tune in.

Derek Lowe's decision to do the right thing is being critcized still. Get over it, Woody and Jay!

This just in. New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has announced his plans to investigate the late Pope. Anybody speak Polish? He's hiring.

Back to Rob Portman...who is going to replace him? There are a few announced candidates as of now: David R. Smith of Mason, Eric Minamyer, Hamilton County Commissioner Pat DeWine, state Rep. Tom Brinkman, and former state Rep. Jean Schmidt.

Bob Leeper loses Senate post. So sad.
