Non-Olympics Thread

I've been watching the Olympics since getting back to campus but let's get to political or non-Olympic news.

Yes, Mark Warner is getting noticed in New Hampshire.

My thoughts and prayers are still with Ariel Sharon.

There's nothing I want most than to live in a safe America.
Speaking in Cedar Rapids tonight, Bayh said Bush and the Republican Party will be vulnerable in the 2006 midterm election because of corruption scandals in Congress and poor handling of the war in Iraq.

Bayh said Democrats must be strong on terrorism before voters will give the party any consideration.

Bayh plans to be in Iowa for three days helping raise money for local Democrats and building the groundwork for a potential run for his party's presidential nomination.
Mark Warner has low ratings in presidential polling.
