Vas nu?

Despite the fact that the Grammy's ended at 11:30, I am thankful that The Daily Show with Jon Stewart reruns four times a day. I caught the 1 AM version. Harrison Ford definitely looks different with a goatee.

The Russell Senate Office Building was evacuated yesterday. I hope that everyone is alright.

Senator Bayh will deliver the commencement speech at DePauw University. That's the one in Greencastle, Indiana as opposed to DePauL in Chicago, Illinois. Sadly, I do have connections to that school as well but those memories are very bad.

It wasn't always this way but things have changed since 9/11. That's why I agree with both Senator Bayh and Governor Vilsack.
Presidential prospects such as Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh and Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, lamented the party's poor image on national security. Americans won't trust Democrats on education or health care "if they don't first trust us with their lives," Bayh warned.
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart has been losing a lot of cast members to other shows or pregnancies. Now, we have word that Rob Corddry has been tapped to star in a comedy pilot for FOX. The name of the show is Becoming Glen.
Becoming Glen centers on a successful fortysomething man who looks back at 1994, when he was a 32-year-old slacker (Corddry) living with his parents and spending all his time lying on the couch watching TV.
Alternet interviews potential 2008 Minnesota Senate candidate Al Franken. Franken talks about how Bill O'Reilly defended him and about the 2008 races. Franken has formed the Midwest Values PAC.

Paul McCartney still rocks out and he's not even 64 yet.
Who would have figured Paul McCartney , at age 63, would make the most noise at the Grammys ?

McCartney and his backup band swung into the throat-shredding "Helter Skelter," one of the Beatles‘ hardest-rocking songs. And he pulled it off: At one point the crowd seemed to applaud in simple appreciation that McCartney could hit the high notes on the line, "and I see you again."
That's one of their heaviest songs without a doubt. Let alone that I turn to that song for stress relief along with "I'm Down" and "Twist & Shout."

Chris Witty, a five-time Olympian, will carry the United States flag tomorrow as the Turin/Torino Olympics begin.
