Team USA beats Finland 4-0 for Bronze

Mazel Tov to Team USA for winning the Bronze in Woman's Hockey! They beat Finland 4-0 for their second win against them. It's not the gold medal, but it's another medal for the United States of America. We should be proud of our athletes and what they have done whether they win a medal or not.

Senator Joe Lieberman has criticized the leadership of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and that of FEMA.
The debate continued on the Sunday morning talk shows, Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman was on ABC's This Week. He called for FEMA to be dissolved, and disaster relief to be handled by the Department of Homeland Security.

Lieberman was also critical of current Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff.

Senator Joe Lieberman said, "There's no question in my mind, based on the information we found, Secretary Chertoff failed to do his job. The Homeland security act, all make clear that the Secretary of Homeland Security is the lead for terrorist or natural disasters. This is a story of failure of leadership to prepare before an event."
Jon Stewart looks Oscar in the eye.

But less than two weeks before his big moment as master of ceremonies for the 78th annual Academy Awards, Jon Stewart is cool as a cucumber.

"If you were to measure, let's say, sweat points, I'm pretty OK right now," he says in an interview at his sparse Daily Show office on Manhattan's west side. "It probably won't hit until I look out and go, 'That's not a wax Clint Eastwood — that's Clint Eastwood.'"

Indiana Senator Evan Bayh is among lawmakers from both parties questioning whether it is safe for an Arab company to take over operations at six major US ports.

Speaking on Fox News, Bayh said the decision must be reviewed to make sure national security is protected.
