Good morning-a

Nothing like the lyrics of the Beatles to wake up to when the alarm goes off.

For those interested, starting around 9:00 PM tonight, President Bush will address the nation live from New Orleans, Louisiana.
President Bush will address the nation from flood-ravaged New Orleans at 9 tonight, a day after the bipartisan commissioners who investigated the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks blamed Congress and the administration for not implementing reforms that they said would have reduced the loss of life after Hurricane Katrina struck.

Bush tonight is expected to say again that while he wants to know what went wrong and right with the Katrina response at all levels of government, now is the time to help the homeless victims get on with their lives and to begin the process of rebuilding New Orleans and Gulfport and Biloxi, Miss., and other destroyed communities. He is expected to outline general ways the federal government plans to help.
A Win is predicted for Saturday's game against Indiana University. Go Big Blue!

Questions have been raised on a news release.
Bayh has not said whether he will vote to confirm Roberts. The federal appeals court judge, who grew up in Indiana, already has the support of the state's other senator, Republican Richard Lugar.
Jennifer Lopez as another thing to add to her resume: Anti-Beatle family members. I already knew that J-Lo couldn't act or sing but this?!?
After striding into the building opposite Manhattan's Bryant Park, accompanied by an entourage of journalists and photographers, McCartney Mills - who lost a leg after being hit by a car in 1993 - was confronted by burley minders who yelled: "You have no authority to be here.

"Get out! Leave the floor immediately!"

In the tussle that ensued, Mills McCartney's prosthetic leg became detached. She bent down and clutched her knee in pain, before asking to use a bathroom so she could reattach the leg.

Guards refused and she was forced to cling onto a photographer as she carried out the humiliating task on a stairwell.

Photographer Richard Corkery tells 25hoursonline.com: "I saw her touch her knee and I could see she was in pain. She limped to the ladies room but it was locked. I found another door open. It led on to the stairwell. At least she could have a private moment, which is what she needed."

According to 25hoursonline.com, Lopez's guards continued to verbally attack the group – screaming: "Call the cops! Call the cops!" - until Mills McCartney recovered her composure and was able to leave the building.
I commend Richard Corkery.

Ernie Fletcher saw his chief of staff's office search. Okay, but someone did search it.
