Monday Monday...

A not-so-clean review of one of the many John Fogerty and John Mellencamp shows during the tour this summer. They are two great singers and guitar players.

Farm Aid will give money to the rural victims of Katrina.

Mick Jagger slams Tony Blair over Iraq.
He says, "At the time of the Iraq invasion, "I was ambivalent; getting rid of Top of Saddam Hussein was a gift for humanity and I thought that there was a coherent plan to put Iraq back on its feet. (But it) shocked me to know that Blair already knew that the weapons of mass destruction were simply an excuse and that there was nothing planned for the day after (the invasion)."

Jagger also fears much for the future of Iraq - still the site of much conflict two years after Hussein's regime was toppled.

He adds, "If we do not take intelligent steps, a part of Iraq will end up becoming an Islamic republic, a puppet of Tehran."
In a British poll taken recently, The Beatles' "A Day in The Life" has been named the best British track of all time.

Another review of React Now.

Jon Stewart took a break from satire Saturday night for a good cause.

The New York Times reviews Paul McCartney's Chaos and Creation in the Backyard. It is a relatively good review. Paul McCartney is not and should not be ashamed of his roots.

President Bush should cross the aisle to find Associate Justice Sandra Day O'Connor's replacement.

A review of Compassion Sunday.
