Amtrak cuts

I should note that I am for anything that helps the environment by cutting down on pollution.

From WTHR:
Indiana Senator Evan Bayh says he will take a hard look at the President's Amtrak proposals. He says he supports rail service, despite what the government must pay to keep it viable.

"If it costs Indiana jobs, if it's going to lead to more congestion on the highway, if it's going to be leading to more air pollution; I'm not sure that's the right way to go.

"Once it's closed down it would be very hard to bring back."
They took Amtrak out of Kentucky thanks to Anne Northup!
