Bill O'Reilly is an...

Bill O'Reilly of Fox News did it again!! After telling a Jewish caller to go back to Israel, he is now calling the ADL executive director, Abraham Foxman, a "nut job." The Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) reports the following:
O’Reilly to Foxman: Nuts to you
Bill O’Reilly called the Anti-Defamation League an “extremist group” and its national director a “nut.”

The ADL had written the Fox network commentator this week after he told a caller on his radio show to “go to Israel” if he was offended by attempts to convert American Jews to Christianity and to celebrate Christmas in U.S. schools.

“Jews and other religious minorities are part of America’s great tradition of religious freedom,” ADL National Director Abraham Foxman said in the letter. “The discomfort with proselytizing, or the intrusion of Christian teachings in public schools, is a very legitimate concern.” The ADL said such comments play into anti-Semitic canards, and expressed the hope that O’Reilly would “be more sensitive.”

Discussing the letter Thursday on his radio show, O’Reilly called the ADL “an extremist group which finds offense in pretty much everything,” and said Foxman was “just a nut.”
Bill, I expected better out of you. You go on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart saying you are undecided for the 2004 election. You are being dishonest and not straight-forward with the American people. You claim to be an independent, that's a lie! So should Jon Stewart or myself go back to Israel? I'm not so sure. They have better security over there but they also deal with more terrorism that the United States has on United States soil!
Bill O'Reilly, you are nothing more than a pawn in King George's court! My college has an annual fall lecture with debates of big-name stars in politics. Next year, I want to see Air America commentator and future Minnesota Senator Al Franken debate you! We all know Franken could win easily!
Israel may be a Jewish state but many of its citizens live in harmony among the different faiths. Many Palestinians decide to live within the Israel borders instead of the West Bank or Gaza Strip because of the better services offered.
America was founded on the basis of religious freedom and that's why I like Rhode Island founder Roger Williams. There is a statute of him outside of the Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT) headquarters because of his belief in religious freedom and TOLERATION.
