Cal, The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005)
Seth Rogen has a long history of playing the wisecracking sidekick, dating back to his first big role on the short-lived NBC drama Freaks and Geeks. But it wasn't until The 40-Year-Old Virgin came out that audiences really began to appreciate his wry humour. As the raunchy, inappropriate Cal, Rogen ad-libbed most of his best lines, including the now-legendary "You know how I know you're gay?" scene with Paul Rudd.
Snark Factor: Three out of five. Rogen is so funny that it's difficult to hear some of his lines over the laughter, but since he's not the main character, his scenes end too soon.
