Joe Crawford leaves the Kentucky Wildcats

My friend, Alex, broke the news to me about Joe Crawford transferring from the University of Kentucky Wildcats. I thought he was pulling my leg but the story is confirmed by Sports Illustrated.
Freshman guard Joe Crawford has left Kentucky and will transfer, coach Tubby Smith said Tuesday.

Smith did not say where Crawford might go.

Crawford, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound player from Detroit, was one of three McDonald's All-Americans in the Wildcats' freshman class, joining Randolph Morris and Rajon Rondo, both of whom have started all season.

Crawford has averaged 13.3 minutes a game for No. 9 Kentucky (10-2), but his playing time diminished in the Wildcats' two most recent games. He played four minutes in a win over South Carolina and a season-low three minutes in a loss to No. 2 Kansas on Sunday.

He averaged 3.8 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
This is a sad day for members of the Wildcat Faithful. I wish him all the best.
