Larry Sabato, where have you been lately?

This comes from our good friends in Evansville, Indiana (why bother saying "our", my cousin stopped posting here last month...he's still looking for a legal job in Chicago, when i say legal--I mean a law career):
Will Bayh be a credible candidate? Howey thinks so, saying Bayh offers a more moderate brand of politics than Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York or Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts. "The whole liberal northeast wing has not done well in past presidential races," he said. "A lot of people think he will play very well in the Midwest."

Larry Sabato, a political scientist at the University of Virginia, said 2008 would likely be the best year for Bayh to run. "He's still more of a governor than a senator. That won't be true for long."

Sabato said Bayh could become a major candidate if he runs "flat-out," in the same way Clinton and Kerry seem to be doing. "He cannot run a front-porch campaign," Sabato said. "And he is not going to be drafted."
Uh, Larry, I'm heading up Americans for Bayh, a grassroots campaign to encourage Senator Bayh to run for President in 2008. Where have you been for the past few months? Obviously, not looking at the Americans for Bayh webpage that we have online (Donations gladly accepted for helping us pay the fees for hosting it.)

In addition, Senator Bayh voted against Al Gonzales for AG. AG for AG? AG is the AG? Awesome...not! The Senator, unlike when he was speaking out against Condoleezza Rice, whose last name is a food that goes with beans (baked ones that cause gas pains--not that i know--i believe?), had the following to say:
Unlike his opposition to Condoleezza Rice's confirmation as secretary of state last week, Bayh did not speak on the floor against Gonzales.

Instead, he issued a three-paragraph statement saying he opposed Gonzales' appointment because he believes that Gonzales helped to formulate the policies that contributed to the torture of inmates in Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison.

"Our cause is morally superior to that of those who kill innocent civilians, behead hostages, and oppose freedom," Bayh said. "It would be tragic and self-defeating if we give any excuse to those who would blur that distinction. The controversy surrounding Judge Gonzales, unfortunately, would do that."

Gonzales, who had served as Bush's top White House lawyer, replaces John Ashcroft, whom Bayh also opposed.[...]

Bayh's office received 365 calls from Hoosiers supporting his vote against Rice and 187 calls complaining about it, according to his spokeswoman. On Gonzales, six Hoosiers called asking Bayh to support his nomination and 196 asked Bayh to oppose him.
I forgot to call my Senators but Mitch McConnell is nothing but a pawn in George's court and Ernie Fletcher is a pawn in Mitch's court.

A source close to the Republican party has told me that Ernie Fletcher hates it in Frankfort and wants to be on Capitol Hill again. Evidently, Ernie has the poor ratings to show it. That's right, his ratings are below freezing! He can shove his Senate dream where it belongs!

Hillary wants Gov. Dean as chairman. Not because of the grassroots but because she wants him as a death sentence...which is exactly what a Hillary Clinton candidacy would be. Hillary, stay in the Senate for the time being...that's where we need you. Not to be outdone, Bill Clinton has said he will be running for DNC Chairman in 2008.Personal note: I don't know if that source is a liberal or conservative website so my opinion may differ from their's.
