Rick Perry says I'm going to the BBQ

Texas Governor Rick Perry says I should spend eternity in the eternal barbeque. I'm sorry, Governor, but maybe you should THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY BEFORE YOU SAY IT. I have thick skin, believe me, but Rick, you're just as bad as that schmuck from Germany who KILLED INNOCENT JEWS!!!!!
Texas Gov. Rick Perry has drawn criticism from rival candidates for saying he agrees non-Christians are condemned to spend eternity in hell.

Perry was among some 60 mostly Republican candidates for Tuesday's midterm election attending a Sunday service at San Antonio's Cornerstone Church, where pastor John Hagee said in his sermon non-Christians were "going straight to hell with a non-stop ticket," The Dallas Morning News reported.

Afterward, Perry told reporters there was nothing in the sermon he could disagree with, prompting quick condemnations from opponents.

"He doesn't think very differently from the Taliban, does he?" said independent candidate Kinky Friedman. "Being obsessed with who's going to heaven and who's going to hell is kind of a pathetic waste of time."

Democrat Chris Bell said a state leader should have been more cautious in his remarks.

"G-d is the only one who can make the decision as to who gets into the kingdom of heaven," Bell said.
Another candidate worth quoting are the Illinois candidates.
And then there are the remarks surrounding the Cubs. Blagojevich’s camp issued a news release that said in the final 48 hours, there was an insult from Topinka directed at Cubs fans.

She apparently said the governor should run for the manager of the Cubs, with the quote, “They’re a bunch of losers too.”

On Sunday, Blagojevich, who is a well-known Cubs fan, responded, "You can call me names, but leave the Cubs alone."
It's a shame when the Cubs become a political issue.
