From Simon Rosenberg's
website:
Five prominent Democratic leaders joined the growing list of supporters of Simon Rosenberg in his race to become Chairman of the DNC. Endorsing today are some of the most important emerging national leaders of the Party, including: Chris Heinz, Bronx, NY Borough President Adolfo Carrion, Georgia State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond, Deleware State Treasurer Jack Markell and Kentucky State Treasurer Jonathan Miller.
They join a group of other leading Democrats who endorsed Simon last week that includes, Rep. Artur Davis (AL), Rep. Ben Chandler (KY), Rep. Loretta Sanchez (CA), Rep. Adam Smith (WA), and Gov. Tony Knowles (AK).[...]
"As a statewide officeholder and a Democrat in a southern state, I know Simon Rosenberg understands what it takes for us to win the hard races in tough places,” said Jonathan Miller. “Simon understands and he has done exactly that. At NDN, Simon has produced compelling and cutting-edge media campaigns to rebuild and strengthen the Democratic brand in some of the toughest places across the country, including Kentucky. That’s the kind of vision and experience we need to become a national party again.”
Also
endorsing Simon:
Mike McCurry, Joe Trippi, Rob Stein, Sergio Bendixen and Christine Varney joined the growing list of prominent Democrats from across the country and from all parts of the Party who have endorsed Simon Rosenberg in his bid to be the next DNC Chairman.
I found what Rep. Ben Chandler said
here"To turn our Party around, we have to win in the South, and Simon Rosenberg knows how to win everywhere. Simon understands that we need to stand up for our beliefs, and offer a compelling, positive, and progressive vision for the future that will speak to Americans wherever they may live."
Many Kentuckians I know support Simon Rosenberg including myself.
My endorsement for Simon Rosenberg and
