KY-3: Dan Borsch for Congress?

The Bridge has reported that Dan Borsch is thinking about entering the race against Anne Northup. A few days ago, an anonymous commenter left a comment saying "Meanwhile, a young attorney with a Conway like resume and less political baggage, Dan Borsch, is making moves to enter the race."

When we weren't sure whether Jack Conway would run, Dan's name was one of the first I heard in comments left here and over at Bluegrass Report.

Thanks to Dr. Ted, I had the chance to meet Dan at the press conference in August when Senator Evan Bayh was in town. He is a very nice guy and I think he would make a superb candidate for Congress--and would be the youngest member if elected--but hey, so was Henry Clay! He's 29 and according to comments that Jason French left at the Bridge, he is a worker's comp attorney.
Dan ran for Metro Council in 2004 against 2 well-known former aldermen. Though many naysayers said he wouldn't get 5% of the vote, he got 25% in a 4 way race. He didn't win, but he demonstrated his raw political potential and his tremendous work ethic.
Currently, Borsch serves as the president of the Louisville-Jefferson County Young Democrats.

I second every comment that Dr. Ted and Jason French have said. I look forward to working with Dan Borsch should he run.

To those in KY-3, if you hear anything, please let me know!
