Tim Russo at Buckeye Politics reports that Fox 8 News in Cleveland reported that State Senator (and former Congressman) Eric Fingerhut is a candidate for Governor. He is to file papers for an exploratory committee today. My guess is that he was backing Coleman since he had yet to enter the race earlier this year. Now that Coleman is out, there is "a void." I would have voted for Eric Fingerhut had I been a Ohio resident but I am a lifelong Kentuckian.
