Happy December!

It's December 1st, so that means just about 24 more days until Chanukah starts at sundown. More on that later but it's time to get those Sandler songs stuck in the head once again.

Moving on to news and other stuff, SNL has some interesting hosts and musical guests during new shows this month. This weekend will feature comedian Dane Cook and Musical guest James Blunt. Next weekend will feature the 12th appearance of actor Alect Baldwin and he will be joined by Shakira. Finally, on the 17th, Jack Black hosts with the legendary Neil Young as musical guest.

New Hampshire State Representative Peter Sullivan, a Congressional candidate, has a new post up on his blog dealing with the folly of false choices. Check it out, and while you're at it, make sure to contribute to his campaign!

Mitt Romney is not ready to make a decision and he says the delay will hurt Democrats and not the GOP. I think it's the other way around. What Democrats need to do is get organized and campaign in all the precincts.

Senator Dick Lugar is against a time table.

Even St. Louis Cardinals' pitcher Matt Morris doesn't know where he will play next year. Come on, St. Louis! Get with the picture. This guy is a Cardinal player for life. Well, he should be! St. Louis lost out on Brian Giles as he is staying with the Padres. No word yet on A.J. Burnett.

Tracy Morgan and Tina Fey will reunite for Tina Fey's sitcom pilot for Friday Night Bits.

Who is going on Friday to see Hilary? Not me, and even if I had the finances, I'd probably be up in Indianapolis for Senator Evan Bayh's 50th birthday bash. The Herald-Leader has more.
"She is the No. 1 leader of the Democratic Party in this country," Lundergan said. "We are very fortunate to have her here in Kentucky."
That's an overstatement. The #1 leader would have to be Chairman Dean by far as he is the chairman. Clinton is not in my top ten of leaders within the party. Nowhere close.

Will be there: Jody Richards, Greg Stumbo, Rocky Adkins, Steve Riggs
Will not be there: Ben Chandler (scheduling), Crit Luallen (scheduling), Bob Damron (scheduling), Kathy Stein (scheduling)
Not sure: Jonathan Miller (may stop by but will be in Indianapolis for the Bayh birthday party)
