Breaking News: CDKY Elections Rigged?!?

I've recieved word that today's CDKY elections may have been rigged and the election is now under review.

As of now, the alleged rigging involves the female co-chair race but this could have affected the other races--including my own. One candidate was allowed to give her speech by proxy yet Murray State submitted their vote by fax and their vote was not counted by proxy.

The following are contents of an email sent out to chapter leaders last night or early this morning:
It has come to our attention that there was some voting irregularities during our CDKY Convention today. In the election of Female Co-Chair, we have been informed that there was a tie vote amongst the chapters. There is no provision in the CDKY Constitution for tie-breaking votes. Apparently, Clint Morris took it upon himself to make the tie-breaking vote. He should have consulted with the executive board present or the total delegation present, but instead there was no mention of a tie or what the results were. He only presented the newly elected officers. Therefore, I strongly encourage all Kentucky College Democrats to ignore the results in the Female Co-Chair position until the problem is resolved. The election should therefore be null and void. Thank you for your time!

In my youth group experience, when there were ties during elections, we always had a revote until a winner was declared. Our elections were always under the rules of parliamentary procedure.

Anyway, here's the board that was elected:
Jonathan Boyd (WKU) - Co-Chair
Lauren Ingram (U of L) - Co-Chair
Gabe Cronon (NKU) - Communications Director
Malene Hughes (Morehead) - Membership Director
David Thomas (WKU) - Political Affairs Director
