Jack D. Wood, a former judge and Republican attorney general candidate, has filed to be a candidate for the State Treasurer's race in 2007.
So far, there are two candidates in this race. I fully expect that there will be several more candidates and I certainly hope that former interim state party chairman and Henderson County Attorney Steve Gold is one of them!
As for the Attorney General's race, Hebert's blog states that if Richards/Brown falls through, former Secretary of State John Y. Brown III will likely run for Attorney General even if Jack Conway runs.
It's most certain, for the Republicans, that the primary will consist of Northup-Hoover, Harper-Wilson, and Fletcher-Rudolph.
