Klembara to challenge Fischer

Just recieved word that Linda Klembara will run for the 68th District of the Kentucky House of Representatives.
Linda Klembara will announce her campaign for the Kentucky House of Representatives, 68th District, at a press conference on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 5:30 in the council chambers of the Highland Heights City Building. Klembara is a resident of Ft. Thomas and a retired teacher and principal working in the Campbell and Boone County school systems.

Ken Mullikin, Chair of the Campbell County Democratic Executive Committee said, "Linda Klembara is the perfect person to represent the 68th District. She is active in the community, she knows the families in the district, and she will represent the district aggressively and with dignity. I know Linda well and she truly enjoys being out in the community, meeting the people, and understanding their concerns. Her opponent is the invisible man."

The 68th District encompasses the cities of Ft. Thomas, Highland Heights, Cold Springs, Alexandria, and most of the southern part of Campbell County. "It is time to bridge the partisan divide that runs through politics today, and Linda is the candidate to do that. The issues of good schools, quality health care, and a secure retirement cross all party lines and we need someone representing us who can unite and lead. We have not had that in the 68th District," added Mullikin.

Linda Klembara’s announcement is open to the public.
Randy Blankenship is running in the 69th and Rep. Dennis Keene will run for re-election in the 67th.
